This is my first post in 2018. I haven't got time to blog earlier as shortly after the new year starts, I flew off to Taipei with my teenage girl for a vacation. I had planned this holiday to reward my girl for studying hard on her own without any tuition for her 'O' level examinations last year. Besides rewarding her efforts, the getaway was for her to relax before the 'O' level results was released in mid-January. We had a great time in Taipei visiting cafes and bakeries. Our Taipei trip ended a day before the 'O' level result was released. We are overjoyed with my girl's examination result as she has done extremely well and gained an entry to our local top prestigious junior college. She has done my family proud and is the third generation in my maternal family to be in the Rafflesian family!
So much of sharing my joy, here's some photos which I have taken when I visited Wu Pao Chun's bakery in Taipei. So happy to try his award winning Champion bread and other interesting buns and pastries. I'm really awed by his creations and highly recommend that you must visit when in Taiwan if you are also an enthusiastic baker like me! This is Master Wu's second store, the flagship store is in Kaoshiung.
