Danish Yogurt breadmaker Loaf with red bean paste

This is another successful experiment with the breadmaker. I had leftover Greek yogurt and red bean paste in the fridge. So I adapted Carol's yogurt bread recipe and used my method in this experiment to make a Danish yogurt loaf wrapped with red bean paste. Love the result as the bread is so soft and tasty.

Matcha White Chocolate breadmaker recipe

One week March school holiday has ended, I am so glad that the kids are back to school today. Last night, I baked this loaf of matcha white chocolate bread using the breadmaker so that my kids can bring to school for breakfast. I have added my favourite Matcha powder and white chocolate chips to Wu Pao Chun's (吴宝春) champion toast recipe which I tried few days ago. This is my first time trying this combination of Matcha and white chocolate and it turns out great!

My second attempt of piping a doll face birthday cake

Few days ago, I made my second doll cake for a close friend, Lois, from church. She had showed my first doll cake to her daughter when I posted it on my facebook baking page two weeks ago. Her daughter likes it and requested it for her birthday on 13 March. Lois immediately placed an order with me and requested for the doll to wear a pair of eyeglasses as her daughter is bespectacled. I was hesitant about drawing the eyeglasses as I wasn't sure if it would look good on the doll cake. Later, Lois also commented that the eyeglasses if drawn over may spoil the look since the eyes look so big and lively. So, we dropped the idea.

$5000 bread recipe (breadmaker to make starter dough and main dough)

Finally, I tried this $5000rmb bread recipe which many bakers give thumbs up for it's super soft texture. I have adpated and modified the recipe from Victoria Bakes and used my Kenwood breadmaker to knead both the starter dough and main dough. With the breadmaker, it is really easy as no hand kneading is required at all.

Cute Caterpillar Cookies Tutorial Recipe

Two days ago, I have planned originally to do a dual tone ring cookies which will look like a lifebuoy. After preparing the ingredients and mixing it into a cookie dough. My intention was still the same. Until I was rolling the dough into little balls,an inspiration strikes me!I decided to transform the little balls into cute caterpillars. Initially, I wanted to use a toothpick to stick the balls together to form the body of the caterpillar but didn't like the stiff look. I was also concerned about safety as the toothpick may accidentally poke the mouth if you are not careful when eating it. I dropped the idea and just pushed the little dough balls tightly together, good thing the dough was quite soft so it could stick well. I bent the body a little to make it look more alive. After baking, the body remains intact. However, I would advise you to handle it with cares so that each segment will not drop apart. To give away, I carefully wrapped each cookie individually with bubble wrap.
Hope you will have fun making this cookie as much as I do. :)

My first attempt of piping a doll face birthday cake

My good friend cum sister from my church cellgroup asked me two weeks ago if I could bake her daughter a simple matcha birthday cake. My reply was I have never bake one before and am not sure how it would taste like. I am thankful that she trusted me and left everything to me. Her only request was that azuki red beans (which pairs very well with matcha cake) not to be used at all as her girl does not like it.
