Quick & Easy Plain Brownies 简易巧克力布朗尼 (中英食谱教程)

Few weeks ago, when I attended my Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) lunch gathering, my group leader Sharon brought a batch of brownies baked by her 12 year-old daughter. After I tried it, I fell in love with this plain old brownie and requested for the recipe. Sharon is kind to share this recipe which her daughter has gotten when she was in kindergarten. It is her girl's favourite brownie recipe and she often bakes it for occasions and give away as gifts. 


Here's sharing it with you and my modifications in blue text beside it. This recipe is quick and easy and all I needed was one Tovolo mixing spoon throughout to do the job. 




Quick & Easy Plain Brownies 
简易巧克力布朗尼

Ingredients:
4 oz (113g) unsweetened chocolate - I used 15 pieces (150g) of Malagos unsweetened chocolate as I like it rich and slightly bitter. 
170g unsalted butter
2 cups (400g) sugar - I used brown sugar and reduce to 150g 
3 eggs (I used 60g ones)
1 cup (128g) plain flour - I reduced to 100g

170克 
2杯(400克)糖 - 我只用150克红糖
3个鸡蛋 - 我用60克的
1杯(128克)普通面粉 - 100




Methods 方法:

1. Line an 8 inch square pan with baking paper or alternatively prepare approximately 12 cupcake liners.
1。在8"X8"烤模铺油纸或准备12个纸蛋糕杯子。




2. Chop the chocolate and put it into a mixing bowl with the butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute and stir mixuture till it's melted. (I melted it directly over my Brandt induction hob using the lowest heat.) 
2。将切碎的巧克力,并同牛油放入碗,微波高温1分钟,搅拌至融化。(我直接放在电磁炉上,用最低温度来溶化。)


The Tovolo Mixing Spoon (Fuchsia) is all that I needed for this recipe.  It has a stainless steel handle and a nykon/sillicon co-moulded spoon which provides strength and durability and is stain-resistant too. 

3. Add in the sugar and stir well. 
3。加入糖,搅拌均匀。




4. Add in the eggs. Stir well till smooth. 
4。加入鸡蛋,搅拌至滑顺。 




5. Add in the flour. Stir till well blended and mixture is smooth and shiny.
5。加入面粉。搅拌至混合和光滑。




6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celcius top and bottom heat for 25~30 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. (For my Brandt oven, I have used the traditional function to bake for 25 minutes.) 
6。将面糊倒入烤盘,在预热至180摄氏度上下火的烤箱,烤约25~30分钟或竹签插入中心没有沾粘就可以取出。






7. Remove it from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares. Enjoy! 
7。从烤箱取出,在凉网冷却后,切成小方块, 就可享用。




Note 小笔记: 
1. If you are making the brownie in cupcakes form, baking time is about 15~18 minutes. (Please adjust temperature and timing according to your own oven.) 
1。如果做布朗尼杯子蛋糕,烘烤时间是大约15~18分钟。(自家烤炉自己调整。)

2. If you are using sweetened chocolate, you may reduce the amount of sugar by 10~15%. 
2。如果用的是甜巧克力,糖可以减少10~15%。

Hi Ellie, sure you may add nuts like walnuts to this recipe. Add it in after step 5. You may sprinkle some crushed ones on top too, it's up to you. :)

Hi Isabelle, as there is a change in distributorship of Malagos chocolate, I do not know where you can buy it from now.
